TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Registered workshop/course/package is not transferable and not refundable.
   
   
2. If you are unable to attend the registered workshop/course, you must inform Garden of Wisdom Sdn. Bhd. as soon as possible.

Time of Informed / Penalty or Fee
i. At least 14 working days* prior to event / None
ii. Less than 14 working days* prior to event / RM300 (1 Days Workshops) or RM900 (3 Days Workshops) or RM1,500 (4 and 5 Days Workshops)
iii. Less than 5 working days* prior to event OR No Show for whatever reason / Full fees will be forfeited

You are only allowed to reschedule one time per registration (subject to clause 3).  After your first cancellation, you must attend next available workshop/course, subject to a processing fee of RM30.  No refund will be issued if you fail to attend subsequence workshop/course.

* 60 working days for workshops held at venues that require en bloc booking like Enderong Resort

3. The workshop packages must be completed within 2 years (for 3 course workshop package) or 3 years (for 5 or 6 or 7 or 8 course workshop package) from the date of registration (unless no such workshop/course is schedule during the period). Passing the dateline, the unattended workshop and fees will be forfeited.
   
   
4. For all workshop package fee, the fee is distributed according to sequence of course attendance. 1st course attended will be charged base on your eligible entry rate (original or any promotional price depending on your point of registration), subsequent course(s) will be charged based on the lowest promotional rate available at that time, and the last course will be the remaining fee of the package.  Any changes requirement of the package will be subject to RM300 processing fee.
   
   
5. Each workshop might have prerequisite for attending, it is your responsibility to ensure that you meet all the prerequisite to attend the workshop.
   
   
6. Garden of Wisdom Sdn. Bhd. reserves the right to replace any workshop/course with a similar workshop/course with equivalent content and value.
   
   
7. An event may be cancelled by Garden of Wisdom Sdn. Bhd if there are not enough registrants or due to circumstances beyond our control including ‘acts of God’ and world events. Should the event need to be postponed due to circumstances beyond our control, there will be no compensation for any expenses incurred by the registrants. In these circumstances, the event will be rescheduled as soon as possible.
   
   

PRIVACY POLICY
Garden of Wisdom Sdn. Bhd. (Co. No. 796595-U) respects the privacy of individuals with regard to Personal Data and is committed to protecting the privacy of our users, and strives to provide a safe, secure user experience. This privacy policy is formulated in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“Act”), which describes how your information is collected and used and your choices with respect to your Personal Data. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for our service.

Purpose of Personal Data collected

Personal Data that you provide to us voluntarily on when you register a workshop / course, make a comment or enquiry, subscribe to the newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and its other related channels will be processed for the following purposes (“Purposes”):

• to complete transactions with you, manage and verify your registration of our workshop / course where applicable;
• to understand and analyze our workshop / course, and your needs and preferences;
• to develop, enhance, market and provide products and services to meet your needs;
• to enable you to participate in events;
• to direct market to you;
• to prove our services; and,
• to respond to requests or complaints.

Although the precise details of the Personal Data collected will vary according to the specific purpose (such as registration, enquiry, forums, surveys etc.) whether via fill out a form or otherwise, we may typically collect the following Personal Data from or in relation to you:

• Name;
• Address;
• Phone number(s);
• Date of birth;
• Email address;
• Gender;
• Identity card number or passport number; and,
• Any other information you have provided us with.

In certain cases, we may request sensitive information such as question about gender, race, health, age, religion, family history, or marital status.

Use and Disclosure

We may disclose your Personal Data to other subsidiaries within our organization. These subsidiaries will treat your Personal Data as confidential, in accordance with this Privacy Policy and with all applicable Data Protection legislation and will process such Personal Data only for the Purposes and within the terms set out herein.
We are responsible for the Personal Data under our control, including Personal Data disclosed by us to a Vendor (often referred to as the agents, contractors, or third party service suppliers). “Vendor” in this Privacy Policy means in relation to Personal Data any person or entity (other than an employee of Garden of Wisdom Sdn. Bhd.) who providing services to support our organization’s business operations.
We take every measure to provide a comparable level of protection for Personal Data should the information be obtained by a Vendor.


As an international workshop/event organizer, we have Vendor on a global basis and it may be necessary to share/transfer your details to a Vendor, located in countries that do not offer a statutory level of data protection equivalent to that in Malaysia. However, we will ensure that parties to whom your details are shared/transferred protect your information and store and process it in a secure manner.

We use and disclose aggregated non-personally identifying information collected through this form as part of our organization’s process of constantly improving our service and/or business.

Storage and Retention of Personal Data

Your Personal Data shall be stored either in hard copies in our offices or stored in servers located in Malaysia and operated by us or our service providers.  Any Personal Data supplied by you will be retained by our organization as long as necessary for the fulfillment of the purposes stated in above or is required to satisfy legal regulatory, accounting requirements or to protect our interests.
We do not offer any online facilities for you to delete your Personal Data held by us.

Right of Access to Personal Data

Under the Act, you have the right of access to your Personal Data held by us on to request correction of the Personal Data that is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or not up-to-date. If you have any questions regarding this Privacy Policy or if you wish to request access to your Personal Data or if you wish to correct your Personal Data or if you wish to withdraw your consent to us for the processing of your Personal Data for the purposes as set out in above or for the transfer of your Personal Data to the parties stated in above, you may send your request in writing to the following address:

Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy from time to time without prior notice. We advise that you check this Privacy Policy on a regular basis.

By affixing my signature below or by sending to you an email confirmation, I hereby consent to collection, holding and processing of my Personal Data as define under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, including but not limited to the collection, holding and processing of my sensitive personal data (for example, my religious beliefs and gender) by Garden of Wisdom Sdn. Bhd. for the purposes as stated in the Privacy Policy above.
